The British Gospel Arts Choir invites you to our annual concert as we celebrate the achievements of our 14th year.
Join us on a powerful musical journey tracing the roots of spiritual music from Africa to its Diaspora. This journey began in unimaginable hardship—through kidnapping, enslavement, the destruction of families and communities, and the dehumanization of a people for over 400years. Yet, despite the suffering, the people endured.
The drums could not be silenced. The dance could not be suppressed. The voice could not be extinguished. Out of pain, struggle, and despair emerged a powerful, rich, musical legacy of hope, resilience, faith, and joy. This music reaches deep into the soul, lifting hearts and spirits toward the face of the Creator.
Come and experience the story of Gospel Music from Africa, USA, Caribbean and UK, as we honour the enduring strength of a people and the transformative power of faith.
