As many of you know, after 17 years of #PoetryInMotion, we are brought back a different iteration of "poetry night" last year through an event called Soulbrations Open Mic Series (Hosted by Devine Carama and sponsored by SoulnRoses) featuring JK-47.
We took some time off a couple of years ago, accessed the needs of the city, and felt this spring was the perfect time to bring back an authentic open mic where CULTURE is the priority. We've tinkered with the format a bit (not too much) with the goal of highlighting upcoming poets and vocalists, while also being a safe space for "everyday folks" to come out and express themselves on a regular basis. We are excited to patronize a new venue at Halligans Bar & Grill in the Manchester district! Doors open at 8 pm, and the show starts at 8:30 pm. Tell a friend and join us. It's going to be a SOULbration!!! This will be the first set of 2025!!

Kitchen and bar will be open!
Remember this is a poetry night! There will be times and moments in the evening to turn up and have a good time, but please be respectful when the performer is on the mic. That moment of expression could be life changing for them or someone else!
Doors open at 8 pm and poetry starts at 8:30 pm! Seating is limited so get there early!
