Join us for a fantastic afternoon at the Stax Museum of American Soul Music! We’re excited to continue our “Saturday Family Day” series, held every month from 1 to 5 PM. This event is perfect for children and adults of all ages, and the best part? FREE ADMISSION from 1 to 5 PM!
This October, get ready for a special “Soul-O-Ween” celebration! Come dressed in your best Halloween costume and participate in our costume contest for a chance to win exciting prizes. Enjoy "Trunk or Treat" in our parking lot, Halloween-themed crafts and activities, and more. Groove to live music from our house band, SOUL CNXN , and indulge in delicious offerings from food trucks. Plus, enjoy arts and crafts, games, and other engaging activities throughout the afternoon.
Our “Family Day” is designed to provide greater access to the arts and offer a unique opportunity to learn about Memphis history and the incredible legacy of Stax Records. During this event, you’ll have access to the entire museum, including our newly renovated lobby, gift shop, and lounge—all with the regular admission fee waived from 1 to 5 PM!
