Soul-Fi Sessions is a vinyl listening lounge curated by local DJ Smokes, with rare records, thoughtfully crafted herbal teas, tasty bites, and a little room to sit back and slow down before the Jewish New Year.
Inspired by Elul, the Hebrew month leading up to Rosh Hashanah, this experience draws on a season of reflection, renewal, and setting intentions for the year ahead.
The evening unfolds through six phases of the Elul journey, from the vinyl set’s first track to its last.

About Smokes
A musician in the womb, classically trained violinist and audiophile, Smokes has been curating her record collection pretty much her whole life. She cut her teeth in Austin, TX, the live music capital of the world, before moving out West to get her disco, house & techno groove on with a residency at San Francisco’s infamous underground lair, House of Love. A vinyl purist and an enthusiast for the Balearic or leftfield tradition, Smokes brings the heavy wax for a journey through jazzy, soulful, psychedelic, cinematic – smokey – selections.
