About this Event
This interdisciplinary symposium, organized by the Centre for Urban Mental Health, explores how characteristics of urban environments can foster mental health and resilience. From nature-based solutions (special guest: Kathy Willis) to innovative urban interventions, speakers will present diverse perspectives on how mental well-being can be strengthened in the context of rapidly growing cities.
The symposium will feature keynote lectures by Kathy Willis, Zef Hemel, and Eveline Crone. In addition, a project carousel will showcase short presentations from project teams and directors of the Centre for Urban Mental Health, highlighting ongoing research and initiatives.
The event will conclude with a moderated public discussion, inviting the audience to engage with the speakers and reflect on the proposed solutions and future directions for urban mental health.
