Après avoir donné ses plus grands concerts en 1ere partie de Fontaines DC lors de sa tournée dans les Arena du Royaume-Uni et d'Irlande, à la fin de l'année 2024 et un concert triomphal cet été au festival Glastonbury, le groupe SORRY s'apprête à sortir COSPLAY, son troisième album studio, prévu pour le 7 novembre chez Domino et annonce une tournée en Europe dont une date en Belgique à Bruxelles, le 7 mars 2026 au Botanique.
Jouer dans des salles gigantesques devant des milliers de personnes a nécessité d'amplifier le son du groupe et a permis de prendre conscience de son potentiel. Cette ambition s'est sans aucun doute répercutée sur COSPLAY, apportant une nouvelle confiance en ce qu'est et pourrait être Sorry.
Avec COSPLAY, Sorry ne se préoccupe pas de remplir les exigences d'un genre musical particulier, ni de respecter les règles et les formules bien établies du milieu. COSPLAY efface d'abord méticuleusement, puis redessine de manière extravagante les limites de ce qu'un groupe de rock'n'roll contemporain peut accomplir.

Sorry return with their third album, COSPLAY (out November 7 on Domino), a bold reinvention that pushes the limits of contemporary rock. Written with the idea that “we died when we started writing this album,” COSPLAY is about transformation, identity, and play — erasing boundaries and reconstructing them with fearless creativity.
Across 11 tracks, Sorry weave together decades of musical influence — from lo-fi scuzz to alt-pop and heavy rock — while infusing cultural references and philosophical musings. Highlights include “Waxwing”, a dark siren song imagining Mickey Mouse in the shadows; “Jetplane”, a twitchy take on celebrity sleaze; and “JIVE”, a pounding synth-driven anthem that became the blueprint for the record. Other standouts like “Echoes”, “Today Might Be The Hit”, and “Life In This Body” balance urgency with introspection, exploring themes of identity, impermanence, and self-expression.
Produced with Dan Carey and mixed by Neal H. Pogue and Marta Salogni, COSPLAY is layered with samples, sonic quirks, and unexpected textures, creating a record that is immediate yet full of hidden details. Visually, Sorry extend this ethos through surreal, symbol-flipping videos directed by Asha Lorenz and Flo Webb (as FLASHA).
Fresh from supporting Fontaines D.C. on their arena tour and playing Glastonbury, Sorry are stepping into their most ambitious era yet — one that is as theatrical, eclectic, and thought-provoking as the album’s title suggests.

Sorry keert terug met hun derde album, ‘COSPLAY’, een gedurfde heruitvinding die de grenzen van de hedendaagse rock verlegt. ‘COSPLAY’ is geschreven met het idee dat ‘we stierven toen we begonnen met het schrijven van dit album’ en gaat over transformatie, identiteit en spel – het uitwissen van grenzen en het opnieuw opbouwen ervan met onverschrokken creativiteit.
Het album is gelaagd met samples, sonische eigenaardigheden en onverwachte texturen, waardoor een album is ontstaan dat direct is maar toch vol verborgen details zit. Visueel breidt Sorry deze ethos uit door middel van surrealistische, symbolische video’s geregisseerd door Asha Lorenz en Flo Webb (FLASHA).
Na het voorprogramma van Fontaines D.C. te hebben voorzien, stapt Sorry nu zelf terug op de voorgrond met een ambitieuzer tijdperk dan ooit tevoren – een tijdperk dat even theatraal, eclectisch en tot nadenken stemmend is als de titel van het album suggereert.
