We are hosting a gaming community day for the acclaimed Sorcery: Contested Realm TCG by Erik's Curiosa. Everyone is welcome to come by and play games of this unique New Zealand-made trading card game. Doors open at 9:00 am at Green Bay Community House, 1 Barron Drive, Green Bay, Auckland.Members of the Erik's Curiosa team will also be in attendance. Come meet them, play a game and have a chat about Sorcery: Contested Realm.
We will have casual FREE "Learn to Play" events running throughout the day with some amazing teachers of the game. Bring your family and friends. We will provide preconstructed decks to learn with or you can buy your very own to keep and build on. Check out https://sorcerytcg.com to learn what this game is all about.
For everyone that already has a deck ready, there will also be a Constructed deck event where the top winner will get an exclusive Sorcery TCG playmat as well as many Sorcery: Contested Realm booster packs. Additional prizes will be allocated based on placings and total number of entrants. Entry will cost $40 per person. It will kick off at 10:00 am on the day. Rounds will be best of three, with 10 card sideboards, 60 minutes per round, using the most recent rulebook version. Full decklists will be required to be submitted before the start of round one.
In addition we will be doing Draft-on-Demand events as well that will kick off throughout the day whenever we get a group of 8 people. *While booster pack stocks last.
