Sophisticated Ladies: A Tribute To Nancy Wilson and Natalie Cole

Nancy Wilson, mostly known for her jazz stylings and unique phrasing, also delved into pop, R&B, blues and soul. Natalie Cole began her career as a soul-routed artist, also singing pop and R&B, and later followed the footsteps of father Nat King Cole with jazzier releases. Both singers were recipients of several Grammys.

Melanie Moore has toured the US and Europe and has worked with artists,groups such as Chaka Khan, Atlantic Star and Kool and the Gang. She has performed Off-Broadway and locally at several hotel/casinos. Linda Woodson is a singer/songwriter who has performed with various vocal jazz ensembles locally in Vegas and has been in several community musical theater productions.

Sophisticated Ladies, under the direction of Brenda Cowart, will feature a 6 piece live band including horns. This afternoon performance promises to leave the audience finger-snapping and toe tapping with fun music fitting for the start of the holidays.
