DESCRIPTION A mini-Woodstock event at SONS OF HERMANN HALL, 3414 Elm St, Dallas, TX 75226. A gathering of musicians and artists who will play acoustic music and sell their arts & crafts (CD's, guitars, and other stuff) in the Old Bowling Alley (lower ballroom), benefit of the SONS OF HERMANN HALL COLUMBIA LODGE 66.DATE & TIME: August 17, 2024, 11:00 am - 10:00 pm. Doors open at 10:00 am
GENERAL ADMISSION $10 / person at the door.
CRAFT BOOTH FREE with $10 price of admission to anyone who wants to sell their own stuff and keep proceeds. Booth MUST BE RESERVED IN ADVANCE by calling Allen Hare @ (214) 577-5338 or Barbe McMillen @ (214) 762-1613.
ALL PERFORMERS (see set list below) admitted for FREE!. Must check in at DSA Table #8 for wristband, tuning, dropping off items to sell, etc. Proceed$ will go to DSA. THANK YOU!!!
DSA BOOTH DUTY: 30+/- mins after performance to help sell CD's, etc; Non-performing volunteers welcome - times flexible.
SONG REQUIREMENT: each 30-60 min set must contain at least 1 song from Woodstock - all others, original. Playing all WS songs and no originals is permissible. Five minutes between sets for setup. (SEE WS SONGS LIST BELOW!!!)
SOUND SYSTEM & EQUIPMENT: DSA’s Lance French running sound. Three mics + three lines, with stands, D.I.’s, lines, and cables provided. However, if you’re playing electric guitar, you might want to bring your own pedal / modeler. If you want to chance the electric guitar sound, you can plug it directly into Lance’s mixer. Acoustic guitar recommended.
