Step back in time with the Sons of the Pioneers as they preform at the Grand Theatre on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Tickets can be purchased at https://thegrandtheatre.org/.The Sons of the Pioneers, formed in 1934, forever transformed cowboy music with their thrilling harmonies and poetic images of the West. Founded by Roy Rogers (then known as Leonard Slye), Bob Nolan, and Tim Spencer, the band has remained together continuously since then. Award-winning, legendary band continues to gain fans young and old, playing original favorites like “Cool Water” and “Tumbling Tumbleweeds” and others rooted deeply in western lore. These six accomplished musicians (including Roy Rogers’ son) bring fresh energy to this classic genre, taking audiences time-traveling into the great American West with them.
