Following the success of Jugalbandi: The Crossing in 2023—a mesmerizing fusion of Mediterranean jazz and Indian classical raga—renowned Italian saxophonist Enzo Favata and acclaimed Carnatic vocalist Bindhumalini Narayanaswamy continue their artistic journey, deepening the musical dialogue between Italy and India. This March, audiences get a chance to experience the magical journey of Sonic Ties, a fusion of Indian Carnatic tradition, European jazz and new electronic music. Featuring Bindhumalini Narayanaswamy on vocals, Pramath Kiran on tabla, Enzo Favata on saxophone and electronics, and Fabio Giachino on keyboard. Audiences can expect an evening of rhythmic interplay, improvisational brilliance, and cultural convergence, where tradition meets innovation in an immersive sonic experience.
