It’s hard not to smile when Sonia De Los Santos shares some of her favorite things through song – migrating birds, friendship, chocolate and anecdotes about growing up in Mexico and realizing her childhood dream of moving to New York. Santos has been nominated for a Latin Grammy® and hailed by Billboard as a "Latin children’s music artist you should know.” Her songs are inspired by various Latin American rhythms like huapango, cumbia, salsa and festejo, as well as North American folk traditions from the U.S. Her new live family-friendly show, Música, applauds women who make music and those who inspired her (and her all-female bandmates) to become a musician – “una música” en español.
