Come join us at Unity of Oak Park for a fun-filled day of creativity and delicious food!
Wherever your relationship with music is, this workshop gives you a fast introduction to songwriting. We all love music, whether listening to it, playing it or even discussing it. What better way to appreciate music than writing your own song.
You can be just starting out or already be a playing musician this workshop gives you some tools to be able to express yourself via music while learning how songs are structured. What are verses, choruses, writing techniques and how can you connect it all to what you have to share.
Meet other creative minds over lunch as we enjoy a vegetarian paella and an alcohol free sangria. We will do songwriting exercises in a positive environment that welcomes all creative minds. Songs and melodies are thoughts brought to life, come share yours.
