Songwriters in the Round is an intimate evening of original music in its purest form. Three talented singer-songwriters share a single stage, performing their original works in a rotating format, each artist taking a turn to play and then passing the spotlight to the next, trading songs and stories in a conversation that's as much about the craft as the performance. No setlists. No barriers. Just songwriters doing what they do best and letting you in on it.
Lillie Syracuse draws from folk-rock, soul, and jazz to create a genre-bending artistry that is deeply and uniquely her own. With a voice often likened to Norah Jones, Bonnie Raitt, and Brandi Carlile, she sings with razor-sharp emotional focus and a gift for making every person in the room feel seen. She has just released her self-produced sophomore album, "Big New Heart," and calls the Blue Ridge Mountains of Asheville, NC home.
Chris Rosser is a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, composer, and producer from Asheville, NC whose musical reach spans the globe. He has released five solo recordings, including his latest, "Worrying Boy," and toured 20 cities in China with his world fusion ensemble Free Planet Radio. He has performed internationally alongside Omar Faruk Tekbilek, Rhonda Larson, and Lizz Wright, earned a NC Arts Council Composer Fellowship, produced and engineered over 250 albums, and composed music for national commercials and TV series on Animal Planet, TLC, OWN, and PBS.
Mitchell Wolfe is a Greenville, SC singer-songwriter whose deeply personal blend of folk, country, blues, and Americana has earned him a devoted following across the Southeast. His storytelling gained national recognition when his music was featured on the ESPN/SEC Network Emmy-winning documentary series "True South," underscoring Southern culture and identity with songs that are honest, vivid, and unforgettable. His latest album, "Black Dog," is out now.
Three voices. One stage. An evening of music you won't soon forget.
