Songwriters at Play host Steve Key will share the stage with Paddy Marsh, and Perry West (pictured here). They will swap songs in-the-round, Nashville-style.Singer-songwriter Paddy Marsh was born and raised in California’s San Joaquin Valley, brought up with a passion for music and singing. He picked up a guitar at age 15, and fell in love with country blues. He has recorded two albums with the band Crooked Eye Tommy, and has toured extensively, playing festivals, theaters, and many dive bars through the years. Paddy, who lives in Arroyo Grande, won Best Song and Best Performance honors in our song contest this year. Sample his music at https://soundcloud.com/paddy-marsh
Perry West also resides on the Central Coast, and also took a Best Performance prize in our song contest. Perry calls his style "indie-folk", with strong emphasis on lyrics and a love of poetry. You can find his tunes at https://soundcloud.com/perry-west
