Songwriter Sessions Series was a Hey Dave Music 'Listening Room Experience" created in 2019 with many of its shows held at the Redstone Room in the Quad Cities. Since then it has branched out as a traveling show. The Swallow Hill Music show will be the third in the Songwriter Sessions Series this year. Jenny and I first set up shop there in 2025 and it went so well Swallow Hill has set up another date for us.

Jenny Shawhan is a powerhouse Colorado singer-songwriter who blends soulful Americana, country, and gritty southern rock. She’s earned critical praise for her self-empowering debut album, Don't Be Afraid, produced by award-winning engineer John Macy. She’s performed at the Denver Broncos Super Bowl Parade, played a coveted songwriter round at Nashville's historic Bluebird Cafe, and opened for legendary acts like Big Head Todd & the Monsters.

Teresa Storch creates message-driven folk-rock and bluesy Americana anchored by powerful, controlled vocal riffs and melodic grooves. She was named a New Folk Finalist at the prestigious Kerrville Folk Festival, and her album Come Clean garnered international acclaim, making The Telegraph UK’s Top Country/Americana Albums list. She fronts the mesmerizing Teresa Storch Band, drawing comparisons from No Depression Magazine to legendary songstresses like Emmylou Harris and Patty Griffin.

David G Smith is a seasoned touring artist and regular at Nashville's Tin Pan South Songwriter Festival and host/performer at the Bluebird Cafe/Nashville. Performed for 5K Eagle Scouts in an arena event. Has worked with Keb Mo, Justin Townes Earle, Rambilin' Jack Elliott, Rory Block and others. Songs have charted around the world and have appeared on TNT, Lifetime, Travel Channel & PBS.
