Join us on Thursdays for the 21st Anniversary of Songs on the Lawn, presented by Xcel Energy! Take the opportunity to network, enjoy local food, and listen to great music with your co-workers, friends, and family at Civic Center Plaza in downtown Mankato. These summer concerts are free of charge and parking is available in the Cherry Street and City Center ramps at no cost.Joe Tougas & Associates is an ensemble of songwriters and players with a range of styles presented in the format of a floor-stomping, killer rock ‘n’ roll bar band. Works include “Sway,” “Single King” and the sweet yet brutal KMSU Smash Hit Song of the Summer, “Daddy’s Car.” The Associates are: Joe Tougas, Ann Fee, Shelley Pierce, Evan Beirer, Scott Rahe, Kaitlin Baumann Hohenstein, Abigail Kimble and Michelle Roche.
This year's Songs on the Lawn will feature food from ATOM Hospitality, Massads Group, Pub 500, The Loose Moose Saloon & Conference Center, Frozen Yogurt Creations, and Wooden Spoon.
