It's a meditative journey carried by voice, resonance, stillness, and presence.
Through a rare combination of throat singing, overtone chant, natural voice, and acoustic instruments, Matthew creates an atmosphere that feels both deeply earthy and vast beyond words.
His surreal, multi-tonal voice can sound like several voices at once.

At times it seems to bend the very fabric of space and time.

Awakenings Wellness Center has chairs, yoga mats, backjacks, and bolsters you can use.
Feel free to bring your own mat, blanket, cushion, water bottle, or eye covering.
About Matthew Kocel
Matthew Kocel is a throat singer, recording artist, sonic alchemist, and multi-disciplinary healing arts practitioner with over 30 years of experience as a performer.
Affectionately known as the Cosmic Throat Singer, Matthew creates deeply meditative musical experiences through resonant throat singing, overtone harmonics, and lyric-free original compositions.
