Songs of Love and Toil - Album Launch

After some four years, it's high time we, The Ebb Tide Men - made an album of the songs we sing. So this concert is the proud launch of our album SONGS OF LOVE AND TOIL. In retro format of CD, but purchase of the CD will give you free digital download.
In case you've not heard us before, our repertoire is grounded in 'Anglo-Celtic' folk, but quickly ventures further afield to embrace traditional song in languages and cultures from across Europe. You'll hear Robert Burns' Ye Jacobites, our twist on the much loved Italian Santa Lucia, a Ukrainian lullaby and many others. Our four-part a cappella (unaccompanied) arrangements come from a whole range of sources and include those created by ourselves. And our performances are strong, engaging and full of the stories behind the songs.
We are delighted to be able to confirm that the venue for our launch will be the wonderful art deco Camelot Arts Club. Camelot offer a bar and fresh pizzas! Get there early to secure your seat and put in your pizza order. There's Japanese takeaway Wok and Roll also operating over the road.
