Songs of Day and Night

You are warmly invited to join us for Soon Amore choir's summer concert at York Cemetery Chapel (YO10 5AJ) on Sunday 12th July 2026 at 5pm. As always, we will perform a diverse and interesting programme of choral music, mostly 'a cappella', but with a little piano accompaniment here and there and a few short poems too. This time, we've chosen 'Day and Night' for our theme so, on our musical journey, we'll enjoy the delights of dawn as we seize the day, and twinkling stars and dreams as we sleep. The concert will include pieces by composers such as Eric Whitacre, Morten Lauridsen and Gerald Finzi as well as several pieces written by members of the choir. We do hope to see you there and thank you for your support. Tickets: £10 (concessions £7) on the door (cash only please).
