This special Songs for Scholars, Steve Albini Tribute show will feature 2 great acts, plus a fabulous young up-and-coming guitarist Nathan Liberty to provide a few great Steve engineered covers from the likes of Nirvana and the Pixies between sets.Our host and opening act will be former headman of Loudmouth, Robert Rolfe Fedderson and friends paying homage to the late great Steve Albini (The legendary Chicago based Producer and Sound Engineer for the likes of Nirvana, PJ Harvey, Cheap Trick, the Pixies and countless others).
We have a special feature act, which we'll announce later this March that will blow you away. They've played in venues across the country and only play occasionally. We are excited and lucky to get them.
Food provided by CraveBelly and great beers, sodas and craft cocktails from our amazing hosts at Blue island Beer Company. Raffles, split the pots and vendor tables will round things out .
Concert proceeds to benefit the students of Dwight D Eisenhower High School. This is a not to be missed show!
