Join Chief Phil Lane Jr. and musicians from diverse cultures for an evening of teachings, songs for peace, and a collective dance of unity. In a time when so much of our world feels divided by borders, by stories, or by politics, we gather to remember a deeper truth: we are all woven into a single human family.
Our shared hopes for peace remind us to come together in unity, with a shared vision of peace on earth.
Join us for Songs for Peace, an invitation to gather as one human family and call forth global peace through wisdom, song, and dance.
As Hereditary Chief Phil Lane Jr. teaches:
“Unity means oneness… Disunity is the primary disease of community.”
Chief Phil Lane Jr. will open the evening with a talk on unity, followed by performances from musicians of diverse cultures sharing songs for peace. We will then join together in a brief yet powerful group meditation to visualize harmony on our planet, and finally, dance our hearts’ prayers into the night.
This is not a political gathering.
It is a prayer for peace within ourselves, within our communities, and within our world.
A circle of unity, where all are welcome.
