Songo Presents: The Music Mine Jam Session

What started as a radio segment now comes to life on stage. The Music Mine Jam Session is an intimate live music experience inspired by Songo’s radio show, TheMusic Mine — a platform created to spotlight incredible independent artists and musicians from South Africa, particularly from the Eastern Cape. This edition features singer, songwriter, producer and poet Mandilakhe Ikhaya, an artist known for blending soul, African folk storytelling, jazz, neo-soul and R&B into a deeply expressive and authentic sound. Backed by the AfroGroove SA Band, the evening will feature original music, live improvisation, honestmusical conversations and an open jam session experience.
