Experience great songs in their most intimate and natural setting at the Song Dog music series! In December my guest is the one and only Walt Wilkins! Get your tank filled up by Walt’s passion, craft, heart, soul, and kindness because he’s got plenty to spare. He’s gonna have to really work to pare it down because he’s got 9 solo albums, 4 albums with his band the Mystiqueros, and has had over 100 songs recorded by other artists. I can’t wait to swap songs and stories with this legend of the Texas music scene.
The Song Dog concert series happens every first Tuesday of the month in the Augustus (music venue attached to the Local Yocal BBQ and Grill) in McKinney. Past guests include Tracy Byrd, Radney Foster, Deryl Dodd, Cleto Cordero of Flatland Cavalry, Stoney Larue, Mike Ryan, and many more. Get the best seats by reserving in advance, especially because some shows do sell out.
Doors open at 6 PM
Ticket price for the first three rows includes a meal at 6:15 which you can eat at your seat.
Music begins at 7 PM
Show is generally over by 9 PM
