Experience great songs in their most intimate and natural setting at the Song Dog music series! In October my guest is the dynamic Grammy-nominated duo of Trey Hensley and Rob Ickes. Rob is the most decorated musician in IBMA (International Bluegrass Music Association) Awards history with 15 IBMA Dobro Player of the Year honors. Acoustic Guitar magazine named Trey “Nashville's hottest young player” and believe me..he can flat-out BURN it DOWN. The duo has four studio albums and they’ve played with the likes of Willie Nelson, Charlie Daniels, Vince Gill, and well, you get the idea. Get ready to have your face melted.
The Song Dog concert series happens every first Tuesday of the month in the Augustus (music venue attached to the Local Yocal BBQ and Grill) in McKinney. Past guests include Tracy Byrd, Radney Foster, Deryl Dodd, Cleto Cordero of Flatland Cavalry, Stoney Larue, Mike Ryan, and many more. Get the best seats by reserving in advance, especially because some shows do sell out.
Doors open at 6 PM
Ticket price for the first three rows includes a meal at 6:15 which you can eat at your seat.
Music begins at 7 PM
Show is generally over by 9 PM
