Join us on Monday 28th September for The Young Songwriter 2026 Showcase for the top 10 finalists of the 19-22 years old category — a celebration of the most original and exciting young songwriting talent in the country. The winner is announced at the showcase!
The showcase brings together songwriters, producers, artists and leading players from across the music industry — so as well as an unforgettable night of music, it's a rare chance to be in the room with the people shaping it.
The Troubadour is one of London's oldest independent music venues, hosting iconic names such as, Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix and Paul Simon to Adele, Ed Sheeran and Florence & The Machine.
For 17 years, Song Academy has been the launchpad for the next generation of songwriters and artists — alumni include GAYLE, Matilda Mann, Lexie Carroll, Hetta Falzon, Sophie Griffiths and Natalie Shay — and this showcase is your chance to hear tomorrow's voices today.
The Young Songwriter 2026 judges include Tom Odell, Toby Gad, RuthAnne Cunningham, Jin Jin, Eg White, Dan Gillespie Sells, Hannah V, Tallia Storm, Miranda Cooper and Connie Talbot.
