Italian composer Sergio Calligaris
SONET Piano Duo was founded in 2003. Within the same year the Duo participated in the Rome International Competition organized by F. Chopin Association and became the laureates and also was awarded a Special Prize for the best performance of the contemporary Italian composer Sergio Calligaris.
The Duo appears frequently in concerts both at home and on tours abroad: USA, Canada, Australia, Russia, Germany, Belgium, Italy, etc., in such concert halls as Independent Theater (Sydney), Mazzolini Hall (Toronto), Moscow Conservatory Hall, etc.
The repertoire is quite rich embracing compositions of various genres: from pieces for four hands to double concertos with orchestra (Bach, Mozart, Poulenc).
