Somewhere Over the Rainbow

ROAR Team 8 welcomes Island Time Saxophone Quartet (and Friends), a unique wind ensemble of Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Baritone Saxophones. Their music is a mix of medieval to modern, classical to jazz (Latin, pop and children’s). “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” is sure to have something for everyone in the audience.
ROAR is a volunteer society of LGBT people and allies, dedicated to providing a safe haven to LGBT refugees facing persecution in their countries of origin. The process of coming to Canada can be complicated and long. To keep them safe while waiting in their country of refuge, our Team raises and provides funds for life necessities. The members of The Island Time Saxophone Quartet (and Friends) are donating all of their time and fabulous musical talent. Our Team thanks them and promises that funds raised will be used to support an LGBT refugee in need.
