? Hey everyone! We're excited to announce auditions for "Something Rotten!" the Musical! Directed by Shaelyn Crabtree, with choreography by Reese Thurmer and vocal direction by Carrie Guffy, this is your chance to get involved in a super fun production!Audition Info:
Who: Ages 15 and up
What to Prepare: Bring your best 16 bars (or about 30 seconds) of a musical selection to showcase your voice.
Dance: Get ready to move! There will be a tap audition, so come prepared to dance.
About "Something Rotten!"
Set in the 1590s, this musical is all about the Bottom brothers—Nick and Nigel—who are trying to write a hit play while dealing with the overwhelming success of William Shakespeare. When Nick gets desperate, he consults a soothsayer who tells him that musicals are the next big thing. Chaos and hilarity follow as they try to create the first musical ever!
