💙 Undercover Artist Festival and Brisbane Festival present a double bill of two new plays in development, exploring the lived experience of their writers. These plays will be presented as rehearsed readings.🎤 Tracks: Embedding accessibility at its core, Todd and Alex Macdonald's Tracks is a transformative longform documentary theatre project exploring the experiences of Alex, who is finding their voice living with a genetic disorder and autism in a non-binary body, their father Todd, and the two's 19-year journey together.
🎤Pretty F**king Autistic is a darkly funny, brutally honest play about love, identity, and the fine line between protection and control from local playwright Oliver Hetherington-Page. A musical without music, it's a coming-of-age story and a declaration that autistic lives are not tragedies - they're stories worthy of centre stage.
