So, no need to go to Edinburgh to get the latest acts. It’s all here in Somerset with the Somerset Comedy Festival.

Early Comedy Show – Freya Mallard – The Bounce Back
Freya Mallard is a stand-up comedian and online sensation, who is quickly becoming one of comedy’s fastest rising stars.
Garnering over 9.5 million likes and over 100k followers on TikTok for her videos, spanning everything from Drs in Grey’s Anatomy, and Mum’s doing their make-up to gentle parenting.
Freya has appeared on The Stand-Up Sketch Show (ITV2) and has performed on BBC Radio 4 in DMs are Open and for her nomination in the BBC New Comedy Awards.
Freya was a finalist for Leicester Square New Comedian in 2021, shortlisted for the BBC New Comedy Awards in 2019, as well as reaching the semifinals for 2Northdown’s New Act Award, Chortle Student Comedy Award, and So You Think You’re Funny.
