Living with cerebral palsy, a young woman has spent much of her life navigating the expectations and limitations placed upon her by others. When she encounters a specialised organisation supporting people with disability, a new world begins to open up—one that challenges her perceptions of relationships, sexuality and, most importantly, herself.
Tender, thought-provoking and at times confronting, SOMEONE LIKE ME explores the universal desire for connection, autonomy and acceptance, while offering audiences a perspective rarely given space on the big screen.
