We're back at the Phoenix for another evening of poetry and music!
We'll have open mic, a poetry slam with cash prize, Ninja Bob playing tunes and featuring Leicester legend Rob Gee.
Bob will be playing tunes from 7pm and the poetry will start at 8pm.
Also there will be the world famous Some-Antics raffle.
10 open mic slots available, 3 mins per poet.
7ish slam slots available.
Slam Etiquette:
• Three minutes per poet
• Points deducted for going over time
• Two rounds of slam
• Original material only
• Audience judged
• Just for fun or rhyme to the death, either way bring a smile!
The slam winner takes home a custom Some-Antics notebook, £25 cash prize and a place in our Championship Slam 2024.
We video record performances which are available on our Youtube channel after the event. If you don't want your performance recorded or published, or don't want to be photographed, please let one of the team know.
Tickets will be available via the Phoenix website, or you can pay at the box office/on the door on the night. If for whatever reason the ticket price is a problem, please let our door staff know and you will be allowed in for free, no reason needs to be given.
