What:
Our voice is a vibrant way we show up in the world. We often have no attentive connection to how sound leaves our body, not to mention how it affects those around us, and how it distills and diffuses what is within us.
Carrie and Ellen of Smashup Somatics are mashing their passions and have created the Somatic Vocal Playshop specifically for therapists, coaches, body workers, acupuncturists, chiropractors, yoga instructors, really anyone who uses their nervous system to guide and structure the healing, wellness, and fullness in others.
By smashing up a handful of somatic and inter/intra personal practices, we harness the intrinsic wellness of being human, and expand our resilience and capacity for caring for not only ourselves but others as well!
Learn more how to feel, sense and compassionately embody your voice through
• body awareness
• playful exercises
• gentle movement
• feeling your own voice through sound grounding
• expert holistic vocal embodiment guidance, integration, and sharing
You will have the support you need through:
• expert group co facilitation by @carriehennessey and @ellenography to encourage deeper connection
• tools and practices to take these skills with you in the world.
Connect more deeply with yourself and others. Make sounds and play with us! Or as @carriehennessey says, “make some sounds outta your face hole!” Lasting impact in ourselves and others can be made through wild play!
