This workshop focuses on ways to reduce tension for both client and therapist. It is based on somatic principles of movement re-education and self-care. This unique neuromuscular approach consists of gentle, fluid, rocking movements (oscillations) that lull the nervous system into a state of receptivity and safety. The manner in which we move as the therapist, nourishes feelings of lightness, freedom, flexibility, balance and ease in our clients. New neural patterns are introduced resulting in dramatic muscular relaxation, improved posture, and decreased pain. The benefits for both therapist and client are endless and the potential for skill development and career longevity is unlimited!
