In this workshop:
In the fast-paced world we live in, stress and tension often manifest in our bodies, affecting our overall well-being. This workshop offers a gentle yet powerful introduction to somatic movement and experiential movements designed to help you release and unwind the stress stored in your body.
Somatic movement involves reconnecting with your body through mindful awareness and purposeful movement. This workshop will guide you through a series of exercises and techniques aimed at releasing physical and emotional tension. Discover how simple yet profound movements can bring about a sense of release, relaxation, and restoration.
No prior experience is necessary – just an open heart and a willingness to reconnect with your authentic self.
About the Presenter:
I (Chelsea) am a mother to two strong-willed children, a creator, a Sagittarius, a responsible eldest daughter, story keeper, writer, epic schedule juggler, and a voracious reader. I am deeply connected to elders and ancestors, whose wisdom and life lessons guide me today. I believe our stories can be reclaimed and are forever changing. I love back road drives, the canopy of the forest, the smell of a campfire, and the depth and beauty of a mountain. I feel rooted and intuitive in my work and allow ideas to take off quickly when they feel right. I am meant to work with other people. I have no desire to do this deeply shifting and powerful work alone. I believe cultivating moments and practices that center ease, comfort, softness, and rest are deeply healing to our nervous systems.
