Somatic Healing for Hairstylists

Sam has been in the industry for 20 years as a commissioned stylist, an independent renter, and a commission salon owner. After Covid, she hit a wall and had to step back and go inward.

"I learned how disconnected I was from my body and my truth. I found my way back to myself through somatic movement and ecstatic dance."

She is now a certified Integrative Somatic Practitioner and I have a passion to bring embodiment and a somatic understanding to the hair industry.
"I want hair stylists to understand the power they hold behind the chair and how to protect their peace. "

This workshop will act as an introduction to somatic work. You will learn how it can help you become an even better stylist and a healthier human. I will guide you through a series of movement and breath. You will learn techniques and tools to take with you that will help you release stress and process emotions. Dress comfy, bring water, a yoga mat, a pillow or bolster, and prepare to get weird!!
