SOLSTICE Summer Fashion Show
About this Event
SOLSTICE is the UVic Fashion Society’s third annual fashion show, inspired by the slow transition from long summer days into night. We’re excited to once again be hosting at the beautiful Ambrosia Banquet & Events. Please note that this is a 19+ event.
The evening begins with a reception featuring a licensed bar, live music, local vendors, a gallery wall showcasing local artists, and time to connect with other local fashion-enthusiasts before the runway begins.
The show unfolds in two acts. FULL SUN celebrates the warmth and ease of summer through light, colour, and movement. As the evening progresses, it naturally shifts into ECLIPSE, emphasizing a darker, more moody collection inspired by the energy that comes after sunset.
We invite you to join us as we bring together fashion, art, music, and community in one evening.
