About this Event
Join Maari Falsetto and Neave Karger in a very special ceremony for the Winter Solstice.
The Solstice Spiral is a time of quiet reflection on the longest night of the year to connect with your inner light. The spiral is a circle seeking its center The spiral is a universal form written into the script of nature: from the shell of the humble snail in the garden or the seashell by the beach, all the way to the vast trail left by mighty galaxies moving through immeasurable space, the spiral is an image of a path to the center. We walk the spiral as an image of this path that we are all treading with each of us on a journey to our own center. The Solstice Spiral ceremony begins as you silently enter the darkened space with a feeling of reverence and expectation. The Spiral path is held by evergreen boughs, with a single candle burning at its center.
The journey you take through the spiral represents an inner journey to find your own “light” within. As you walk into the Spiral, you are invited to silently give away what is complete or no longer matches you. In the very center of yourself, you will discover your own essence, beauty, strength, insight, and gifts to offer the world. Your light is represented by your candle lit from the center candle. You walk back out of the spiral Illuminating the world with the radiance of your light, essence and gifts.
Join us for this very special ceremony to welcome the light and the dark.
