Summer Solstice Sound Bath at Harris Garden

For the third year running, Catherine Holt returns to the beautiful and unique setting of Harris Garden for a very special Summer Solstice evening of sound, rest, and reflection.

Set within the peaceful Conifer Circle, surrounded by trees and nature, this outdoor gathering offers an opportunity to pause, breathe, and reconnect as the longest day of the year draws towards dusk.

This year, Catherine will be joined by mindfulness and embodiment guide Tanya Forgan, whose work centres on helping people slow down, become more present, and reconnect with what matters most. Together, they will gently guide the opening of the evening through simple practices of mindful awareness, breath, reflection, and gratitude, supporting you to arrive fully into the experience and the beauty of the natural surroundings.

As the evening unfolds, Catherine will lead her deeply restorative sound journey featuring gongs, crystal singing bowls, Himalayan bowls, piano, voice, original music, drums, and carefully woven sounds designed to calm the nervous system and encourage deep relaxation.

The Summer Solstice has long been a time to pause and take stock, to appreciate what has grown, acknowledge what has been created, and spend a moment in gratitude before moving into the second half of the year. This gathering offers a gentle opportunity to do just that.

The arc of the evening will include:

• A guided mindfulness and breath practice to help settle body and mind into the present moment
• A simple reflective and gratitude-based solstice ritual suitable for everyone
• Deep rest through a guided relaxation practice
• A restorative sound bath featuring live instruments, voice, and original music
• Time to simply be amongst the trees, birdsong, and beauty of the garden with others

Please note: In the event of rain, the sound bath will take place indoors at The Great Hall, London Road.
