Solstice Dinner for Plant School
About this Event
Our wonderful friends at Retour Bistro will prepare dishes rooted in Southern Lebanon. We will feature fresh produce grown at Bhumiyinda Farm. We will have locally handcrafted items for sale.
Tickets are on a sliding scale starting at $35 for adults, $20 for kids 10 and under. Kids two and under eat for free.
Menu:
Lentil Soup with Fresh Sourdough Bread
Labneh B'toom: smooth and creamy strained yogurt mixed with garlic, dried mint, and drizzled with extra virgin olive oil
Salad & Lemon Garlic Vinaigrette: Fresh greens and veggies from the farm, drizzled in a homemade dressing
Kamounet Banadoura with Spicy Potatoes: A fresh blend of ripe tomatoes and fine bulgur wheat infused with cumin, dried mint, basil, and rose, paired with potatoes tossed in spicy seasoning, finished with fresh cilantro
Strawberry Juice and Herbal Ice Tea: Using fresh ingredients from our teaching garden, gently sweetened with local maple syrup
