The Winter Solstice and shortest day of the year arrive on Tuesday, December 21. The Fifteenth Annual Solstice Celebration and Concert take place at St. Paul’s United Methodist at 7:00 PM. The event will feature the Wilbur Rehmann Quartet with special guest, vocalist Sarah Elkins, as well as Cohesion Dance Project. Special guest speakers include Rabbi Sonja Pilz from Bozeman and Helena Mayor Wilmot Collins.
The Solstice celebration is an interfaith event and is free and open to the public. A livestream option is also available at the St. Paul's YouTube channel, youtube.com/stpaulsunitedmethodistchurchhelena.
All Solstice participants are encouraged to wear a mask and bring a non-perishable food item to donate to Helena Food Share. We will have boxes set up near the entrance in which to leave your food items.
Come join us as the days get shorter and we mark the transition from darkness to light and the Solstice at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church on Tuesday, December 21, 7:00p.
