Join the National Museum of African Art for a Solstice Celebration featuring tours, performances, art, drinks for purchase, and more!

6:30pm & 7:30pm, Curator-led tours of Here: Pride and Belonging in African Art (S1)

8:30pm-9:30pm, Plus Ultra Entertainment featuring DJ Detailz (Mezzanine, S1)

9:30pm-10:30pm, DJ Grimmworkz featuring Ni Dembaya Band (Williams Gallery, S1)

10:30pm-11:30pm, DJ B2B DJ Detailz & DJ Grimmworkz ft. Eli the Drummer (Williams Gallery, S1)


This summer, pedestrian and vehicle access along and across the National Mall may be limited. Please allow extra time to travel between museums.

To reach the National Museum of African Art, exit the Smithsonian metro stop from 12th St. and Independence Ave., or use the L'Enfant Plaza metro stop.

If arriving via ride share, please use Independence Ave. (950 Independence Ave.)
