THIS YEARS SOLSTICE MARKS THE MIDPOINT OF A 30 YEAR CYCLE, A DEEP CELEBRATION TO BE SHARED WITH FRIENDS.
21.12.2012 marked the beginning of a 30 year cycle ushering in the new golden age in 2032. This years solstice 21. 12.2022 marks the exact midpoint of this cycle, a period of intense change & transformation for humanity. Over the past 13 years we have been personally guided to give up our lives as we’ve known them, leave our careers, and do nothing but heal and serve. Now it is crystal clear to us why we have embarked on this journey, of sublimating the ego and surrendering to a spiritual life, and we cannot encourage you enough to do the same. We find these Puja’s (extended worship) of offering sacred sounds at these important points in the calendar prove invaluable times to transmute what ever it is we are facing at this time, clear it away with the extending healing sounds and fill us with light in this time at the DAWN OF A NEW ERA.
AN ALL-NIGHT GONG IMMERSION, A MID-WINTER FEAST AND A TIME TO COME INTO SACRED UNION WITH EACH OTHER.
The Ancients understood the power of astrology and cycles of nature, weather, and the Moons influence on our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual lives it is time for us to fully honour these cycles of nature and the cosmos. They utilized this time with ceremony, fasting, dancing, and mediation to commune with the divine and receive guidance, healing, and light energy. As shamanic sound healers, our devotion is sound and ceremony. In our devotional life, our offering is sound and here we offer celestial gong practice for 8 hours throughout the night for our community. PASTIE gongs are tuned to the vibrational resonance of the planets, recorded by NASA with such a powerful alignment of the star Sirius, The Sun, Uranus, and the Earth our gongs are singing high and sweetly helping us process all the light information flooding into us illuminating our shadow for our much-needed evolution.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
The doors will be open from 7.45pm with time for you to arrive set up your camp for the night. We will be gathering for some brief stretches and shaking before gahering for our ‘brings a dish feast’ which you are welcome to join in, or not if you prefer to keep an empty stomach. Our ceremony begins around 10pm and continues through the night. During the night you can rest, sleep, sit with us as we play, find your own way to be with us as we hold this ceremonial space. From around 5am you will have silent time to process and absorb the sound. The cremony closes around 6-6.30am and we will need to be clear by 7am.
WHAT TO BRING?
Please bring whatever you need to be comfortable: pillows, cushions, blankets, duvets, eye-masks, slippers, pyjamas. The floor is hard so please feel comfortable to bring what you need (PLEASE NO AIRBEDS OR SLEEPING BAGS AS THIS MAKE INTRUSIVE NOISES) There are showers available in the morning if you’d like to freshen up before you leave.
If you who would like to join for our feast please bring a gluten free vegan dish to share ( these options are accessible to all )
Please bring something to offer to the shrine, as we call in healing so our offerings add to our group intention, bringing gratitude & humility.
WILL I SLEEP THROUGH?
Our experience of an all-night gong sleep over is that everyones experience of it is individual. From a practical perspective some people sleep through while others are more active/awake. From a healing perspective you will always receive exactly what you need. For example if you need deep subconscious healing and rest you will probably sleep through. I you need unblocking or to receive new energy you will be more conscious. Most of us drift in and out of sleep to the gentle and magical sound of the gong.

Free on-street parking in bays in the surrounding streets is available during your time here with us.
WHAT IS A CONCESSION?
Fully Abundant £75 - Willing to contribute £60 - Getting there £50. Concessions are offered for people how are truly stuggling, full time students, etc. If really cannot at all afford to come please contact us for a work exchange to be arranged. Matt and I only ever make enough money to cover these rentals so please do give generously and fully if you are able.

“We arrived just before 10pm with all our bedding and immediately felt super excited upon entering into such a stunning place; low lighting, warm, welcoming. All the gongs and bowls were set up in the middle and Matt and Petra were there to welcome us.
I was worried about being cold in the night but the room was all toasty warm. We could see the full moon outside the huge beautiful windows. I was excited!
We made up our bedding and got settled in. The ceremony was opened with some house-keeping and a warm welcome from Petra and Matt, explaining everything we might need to experience. It felt a very well held and safe space to be in. Everything was super comfortable and for us. If you wanted to have herbal teas or move around or meditate or anything throughout the night you could. We, however, just snuggled down and enjoyed listening to and feeling the power of the sound in the room; it was captivating.
Once the ceremony started, Petra and Matt sang and chanted which was just just stunning. Then it was the crystal bowls and gongs and all the other instruments; gently making a resonance around the room and in and our our bodies. I was aware of tingles and sensations, sometimes great heat in different parts of my body. It was as if the resonance or vibrations were actually moving through me at different times, which was interesting to observe and incredibly relaxing.
We drifted in and out of sleep throughout the night. Each time I came to, it was magical to see and hear the prayer and sound work continuing on by candlelight through the night, as well as feeling it snuggly envelope us with sound.
At one point my partner and I woke at the same time and the full moon was shining brightly upon us in through the huge windows. Completely stunning and magical! It was very blissful to soak up that moment, while being moon and sound bathed at the same time. All in all the whole night felt deeply nourishing. So primal to connect into the night time in this particular and gentle way.
In the morning it was a slow and gentle re-awakening, which slightly different sounds and tinkles. There was tea and fruit and space to chat if you wanted. We felt deeply peaceful and contented and when it was time we packed up our bedding and sloped off home, enjoying the early morning quiet and sunrise. The magical bubble of awareness, feeling present, held, connected into something greater than ourselves, was deeply moving and I will absolutely be back again. Thank you Matt and Petra for sharing yourselves and this work with us all, I feel really blessed you are here in Brighton and I can access this so readily.
