Joshua Peckins “Music Speaks” recitals take listeners on an exciting journey from past to present, featuring classics of the past and contemporary repertoire, with rich commentary and stories about the composers and music. "Blue Sunrise" features music from Bach to Blues, Norwegian fiddle, and Ysaÿe’s famous “sunrise sonata.”

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
The First Church in Cambridge is located at 11 Garden St, Cambridge, MA, just outside of Harvard Square. The concert will take place in the Lindsay Chapel inside the church. Limited free street parking is available on Sundays! (Check signage to confirm.) If taking public transportation, the Harvard Square stop on the Red Line is a five minute walk. Two wheelchair accessible parking spaces are on Garden St, directly in front of the church. Is the Chapel Wheelchair Accessible?
Yes, the Lindsay Chapel is wheelchair accessible. There are two accessible parking spaces in front of the First Church on Garden St, and the entrance at 11 Garden St is operated by a push-button. If you have any additional needs or quesitons, please email [email protected] at least 48-hrs in advance of the concert to allow time for a personal response.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Please print your ticket or bring an "e-ticket" on your smartphone. If you forget, just tell the usher the name used to purchase your ticket.
What is the difference between a Standard and Supporter Ticket?
Both tickets are for general admission. The "Supporter" ticket option allows you to make a larger financial contribution, if you wish, which helps make this and other concerts possible. Thank you for your support!
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Yes. One ticket admits one person to the concert. You can freely purchase tickets for others or give your ticket away. Make sure the other person has a copy of the ticket (printed or digital), since the record of your purchase will be under the purchaser's name.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
Recording equipment of any kind is prohibited. Please, no audio/video recording and no photography.
What is the refund policy?
All sales are final, except in the case of illness. If you are not feeling well, please email to request a refund before the concert start time. (Please note, refund requests received after the start time cannot be accepted; and Eventbrite's fees are non-refundable.)If you can no longer attend the concert for a reason other than illness, please consider giving your ticket to a friend! In the unlikely event that the concert is cancelled, a refund will be given.
