* More About Helen:
Helen has been dancing since early childhood and considers herself a Multidancer due to her expertise in various dance styles. She began her dance journey with contemporary dance, classical ballet, ballroom, jazz, and modern dance. In 2011, she expanded her repertoire to include boogie woogie. Helen competed with her partner in Kyiv's dance club community, among the top dance schools in Kyiv, Ukraine. After winning first place in boogie woogie and performing with a collegiate shag show group, she began dancing Lindy hop. Helen began teaching dance early on, starting at her father's dance school, where she worked with children. Later, she was invited to teach at the Kyiv Contemporary Dance School. In 2018, Helen joined the Jazz Dance School in Kyiv, where she taught solo swing jazz. In 2019, she joined a unique dance group of five girls, led by a talented choreographer. This professional group performed Charleston and was preparing a Broadway-style show, but the project was postponed due to the war.
Helen continued her dance career in France, working with two dance schools, Atelier Danse and Rock Caliente, and collaborating with the Aixtraswing community. She was also invited to judge a dance competition near Aix-en-Provence. Helen performed extensively both indoors and outdoors and conducted many workshops for solo swing jazz and Lindy hop with her French dance partner.
