Each year three exceptional Minnesota dance artists receive the coveted honor of a McKnight Dancer Fellowship and are commissioned to create a solo dance with a choreographer of their choice. The 2022 & 2023 Dancer Fellows have selected outstanding local, national, and international dance artists to bring their choreographic imaginations to new and reimagined works expressly tailored for these exceptional performers. The result is an evening of Minnesota premieres, ranging from Baladi to Breaking to Ballet and more.
The McKnight Dancer Fellows and their selected choreographers include:
