Solo Concert by Svitlana Nikonorova - A Benefit for Ukraine

Svitlana Nikonorova, an accomplished Ukrainian bandura player and singer is coming to Indianapolis to perform and fundraise.

Join us on September 25, 2026 at 6:30 PM (Eastern Time) at the Indianapolis Latvian Community Center for a special solo concert by Svitlana Nikonorova, an accomplished Ukrainian vocalist and bandura player from Zhytomyr, Ukraine. Nikonorova is a member of OREYA, the acclaimed vocal ensemble of the Zhytomyr Regional Philharmonic.

Svitlana's performance will feature a unique blend of Ukrainian folk, contemporary music, opera, as well as bandura arrangements of works by classical Ukrainian composers. This concert honors the growing cultural connections between Ukraine and Indiana following the Indiana–Zhytomyr sister-state partnership.

All proceeds from the ticket sales will go directly to humanitarian and reconstruction efforts in Zhytomyr Oblast, Ukraine. This concert was made possible by Ukrainian Society of Indiana, Anna Yaroslavna School of Indiana and the Financial Center.
