The Tory government is attempting to make millions of working people pay for a crisis we have no responsibility for. Cuts in living standards not seen for generations whilst the super rich see their wealth massively increase. The Tories demonise strikers and are trying to whip up hatred against refugees and migrants in a classic attempt to rule and divide. However we have seen an upsurge of strikes and resistance. From rail workers and posties to health workers, teachers, lecturers and civil servants all taking national strike action.
The stakes are high - if the workers movement can start to win this can raise the confidence of millions that there is an alternative to a world run for profit but need.
Whilst Starmer opposes strikes and goes along with the racist offensive this meeting will look at how we can win not just over pay but for different society.
This is an person meeting but if for any reason your not able to attend it will be on Zoom - these are the details.
