About this Event

🎶 One night. A new album. 80 years of resilience.

On Tuesday, June 30, 2026, the Marshallese Educational Initiative presents the Solidarity Concert – a free community event marking the 80th anniversary of the start of U.S. nuclear testing in the Marshall Islands (Operation Crossroads). We gather not in silence, but in song, dance, and solidarity.

In-Person Experience:

Doors open at 5:00 PM CST at the Event Center, Fayetteville Public Library. Before the concert begins, you are invited to explore a special exhibition showcasing Marshallese culture, the ongoing impacts of the nuclear legacy, and MEI’s work for nuclear justice and abolition. View youth artwork, historical displays, and learn about the path toward healing and accountability.

YouTube Livestreaming option: https://www.youtube.com/live/B7hocTMrHcI

The concert program runs from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM CST and will feature:

· 🎤 MARK Harmony concert debuting their new album dedicated to the 80th anniversary and Marshallese resilience

· 🎙️ Remarks by Special Guests

· 💃 Traditional Marshallese dance performances

· 🖼️ Multimedia exhibition and artwork by Marshallese youth

Join our celebration of survival—a declaration that the Marshallese people are still here—still singing, still dancing, still demanding justice!
